The fine print Terms of Use

Plain-language terms for travelling with Aram Travels. If anything is unclear, just ask — we’d rather explain it before the trip than after.

Bookings & vouchers

  • Every confirmed booking is backed by a confirmation voucher sent by email or WhatsApp. Please keep it handy when using our services.
  • Producing the voucher implies acceptance of the terms and conditions stated on it and on this page.
  • Bookings run by calendar day (midnight to midnight) unless a package states otherwise.

Fares & payment

  • The confirmed quote covers the car, fuel and chauffeur for the agreed itinerary.
  • Parking charges, toll charges, state taxes and entry fees are payable by the customer at actuals.
  • GST applies to the final amount as per prevailing rates — 5% on cars (CGST 2.5% + SGST 2.5%) and 18% on the 16-seat vans (Force Urbania and Force Tempo Traveller).
  • We accept payment by UPI or cash — there is no online payment gateway. A booking advance by UPI is enough to confirm a reservation, with the balance settled as agreed on your voucher.
  • For one-way trips where the vehicle returns empty, the return leg to the garage is factored into the quote shared before confirmation.

Cancellations & refunds

  • Cancellation more than 48 hours before travel: full refund, no charges.
  • Cancellation within 48 hours of travel: 50% of the total trip charge applies as a cancellation fee.
  • Refunds are processed within about 10 days to the original payment method.
  • If the customer does not show up within 60 minutes of the scheduled pickup without informing us, the booking is treated as a no-show and the full payment is forfeited.

During the trip

  • The chauffeur will wait up to 60 minutes at pickup without notification; beyond that the booking may be treated as a no-show.
  • Routes, halts and timings are planned for safety first; the chauffeur may decline unsafe roads or timings.

Liability

  • Aram Travels is not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, road conditions, breakdowns or events beyond our control (force majeure).
  • Our maximum liability under any claim is capped at the booking amount paid.
  • Consequential expenses (such as hotel stays or missed connections) are not reimbursable.
  • Any disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Jamnagar, Gujarat.
